Our Streatham Hill Hospital team joined the amazing Dog Show
On Sunday the 17th of September, our caring Streatham Hill Vets team attended the fantastic Tooting Common Fun Dog Show, an event organised by the Friends of Tooting Common. A lot of fun was had by the vets and pets alike as we all enjoyed seeing our patients and their lovely owners as well as meeting new people and their pawsome dogs!
Despite the rain, around 300 people attended the Dog Show whilst 112 dogs of all sizes, breeds, background as well as characters were entered in the competition, many of them winning 1st class and sometimes more than once!
The mayor of Wandsworth, Juliana Annan, as well as representatives of the Wandsworth Council Animal Welfare Team, the Parks Police, Battersea Cats and Dogs Home, Strays of Greece, the Dogs of Tooting Common and the Furzedown Community Network all joined the celebration.
All the dogs present at the show won our hearts, and it was such a tough decision for Vet Helena and the other judges to truly determine who the winners were. Here they are for each category:
- Most Handsome Dog
Yogi Bear
- Prettiest bitch
Daisy
- Junior Handler (up to 8 years old)

- Young Handler (8 to 16 years old)
