Reception

Ashley, Reception

Ashley joined us in May 2017, deciding, after a career as a hair stylist, that it was time to follow her passion to work with animals.

Ashley has a 16 year old Cocker Spaniel called Joe and a tabby kitten called Alfie! She also takes care of her neighbours baby pug when she is at work.

In her spare time Ashley loves to dance and has an interest in gymnastics. She also still keeps her hairdressing skills sharp by taking care of her friends and family!

Kirsty, Reception

Kirsty joined us in January 2017. Kirsty worked in pathology for 12 years, prior to that she worked for the RSPCA and in private practice as a veterinary care assistant. Kirsty has also worked as a Zoo-keeper at Battersea Park Zoo!

Kirsty currently has no pets but has been mum to various dogs and cats over the years.

In her own time Kirsty is an avid traveller, and has spent a few months in Thailand working in an elephant sanctuary looking after sick and injured elephants. Kirsty also likes to cook, theatre trips and socialising!

Marianne, Receptionist

Marianne joined the Streatham Hill team in early 2019. She began her veterinary receptionist career volunteering for a charity veterinary hospital in 2014. She realised that working in the veterinary field was where her passion lay so she decided to change career and enrolled in an Animal Care and Welfare course, where she was awarded a diploma. From there she became a volunteer kennel assistant and began work as an Apprentice Veterinary Care Assistant. Marianne became a qualified Veterinary Care Assistant in July 2018.

Marianne has rescued many dogs and cats over the years. Currently sharing her home with two rescue cats Frankie a 14 year old male with arthritis and Kitten who is 4, who loves being treated like a Princess.

Tracy, Reception / Administrator

Tracy used to be a veterinary nurse, and is now one of our receptionists who also deals with a variety of administrative work.

She has a Saluki greyhound called Archie, a 50 year old tortoise called Mr Montgomery, a cat called Dolly and an adorable little rescue chihuahua pup called Peggy-Sue. Peggy-Sue loves to spend her time being cuddled by all of the staff in the office.

Tracy also loves travelling, especially escaping to beautiful Thailand when it gets too cold here in England! She makes the most of her weekends with the family, and has four grand-children who keep her thoroughly entertained!
