2015 School visit at Streatham Hill Surgery

In February we had a lovely visit from some of the children at Streatham Montessori School. They were really excited about coming in to the surgery to have a look around, and in particular to say hello to all of the wonderful pets who were visiting us that day!

As you can see our nurse Katie was showing them some of the equipment we use for our operations and procedures, we even let them try on one of the stethoscopes!

They really enjoyed Katie's talk on how well we look after all of our animals, including the importance of preventative healthcare. Katie let them have a little look through the door into our inpatients area, (they were so excited they all wanted to have a look at the same time)!

She explained more about the operations that some of our pets need, and how important it is to help them recover with medicine, rest and ongoing care and treatment. They loved telling us all about some of the pets they have, and as well as having a really fun day out!

We can't wait to see them all again, and who knows, there may be some future vets or nurses amongst them!
